I recently had the chance to photograph the sweetest family on a beautiful mid-morning at the University of Tampa. With four boys full of energy and ready for fun, the session was the perfect mix of laughter, running, and playing. UT’s campus was such a great spot—it gave us a mix of gorgeous backdrops and plenty of space for the boys to let loose!
Why the University of Tampa is a Great Spot for Family Photos
The University of Tampa is always a winner when it comes to family sessions, especially for local South Tampa families. From the historic buildings to the shady trees and open grassy areas, there’s a little bit of everything. We started with some classic family photos in front of the beautiful architecture, but let’s be real—this session was all about letting the boys have fun. The wide lawns gave them room to run, and they made the most of it with races, climbing trees, and checking out the fountains.
A Session Full of Laughter and Play
These four boys were nonstop! From the minute we started, they were off running, challenging each other to races, and being silly together. One of my favorite moments was when they all tried to climb a tree at once (spoiler: not quite successful, but totally adorable!). Their playful energy was contagious, and it made capturing those candid, real moments so easy.
I always say the best family sessions are the ones where everyone is just being themselves—and this session was exactly that. No stiff poses, no forced smiles, just a family enjoying their time together and letting the boys be themselves.
Wrapping Up
